About Us Services Giving Prospective Volunteers Contact Us Trainees   Care Ring CONTACT coordinates a Care Ring program to provide outreach service to the homebound elderly and disabled. Our trained volunteers place calls to Care Ring clients 5-7 days a week on a set schedule arranged to each client's convenience. We place nearly 5,000 Care Ring calls every year. The program provides a crucial link to the world for those who are confined to their homes for reasons of age or health. Our regularly scheduled calls keep them engaged with the world and connected to the community. We call to inquire about their health, their needs and interests, and just to chat about what's going on. This unique, free-of-charge program is available to any homebound, socially-isolated, elderly or disabled New Jersey resident in our service area.
