Elects New Board Members

Central New Jersey — Contact We Care, the 24-hour caring and crisis hotline serving central and northern New Jersey, elected Jeffrey Feldman of Westfield and Karen Yutsus of Mountainside to its volunteer Board of Trustees at the organization’s 33nd Annual Meeting on March 13, 2008. CONTACT We Care trains and supervises volunteers to provide the gift of listening to callers who are lonely, depressed, stressed or suicidal.

Jeffrey Feldman is a retired at&t executive, now active in a variety of volunteer efforts in Union County. He is a State of New Jersey Advocate for senior citizens and has worked as an ombudsman at Runnells Hospital in Berkeley Heights and an extended care facility in Union. He has served in various leadership capacities for the Optimist Club of Westfield, the Information Industry Association and the Williams College Advanced Management program. He holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business Economics.

Karen Yutsus is currently Director of Global Marketing Support Services for Schering-Plough Corporation in Kenilworth. In her 31 years with Schering, Karen has held positions in every aspect of company operations. She holds undergraduate degrees in biology and French and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a member of the Packaging Professionals Industry Association and the Optimist Club of Westfield.
