Meri Barer
Mrs. Meri Barer is a former elementary school teacher who has devoted tremendous time and energy to serving the community through a wide variety of volunteer efforts. During much of her teaching career, she educated children confined to their homes due to extended illness. Along with her husband Sol, she raised four children and served as foster parents for seven years, while being actively involved in the New Jersey Foster Parents Organization. As an Overlook Foundation Trustee, Mrs. Barer has had a tremendously positive impact on the patient experience at the hospital.
