Gala 2008
CONTACT We Care celebrated 33 years of providing hope and saving lives at its Gala fundraising event on November 6, 2008, at the Primavera Regency in Stirling, NJ. Senate President Richard Codey and Mrs. Mary Jo Codey were the guests of honor at the event, which also honored Dr. Armin Szegedi of Schering Plough Research Institute and Reverend Dr. Darla “Dee Dee” Turlington of the First Baptist Church in Westfield. NBC’s Emmy award-winning New Jersey reporter Brian Thompson served as Master of Ceremonies, and author and National Mental Health Award winner Terry L. Wise, J.D., delivered the keynote speech. The evening’s festivities also included a cocktail reception, live entertainment, a fabulous silent auction, deluxe celebration dinner, and honoring ceremony.
