CONTACT We Care celebrated 34 years of soothing souls and saving lives, and raised more than $64,000 for the hotline at its Gala 2009 fundraiser on October 29 at the Primavera Regency in Stirling. One hundred fifty volunteers and supporters gathered to recognize the work of honorees, Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells; Celgene CEO Dr. Sol Barer; Community Volunteer Mrs. Meri Barer; and child and adolescent psychiatrist Dr. Katherine Feingold. WNBC 4’s Brian Thompson served as the evening’s master of ceremonies.
